ZHB Songhai Farm Benin Africa

Zita’s Healthy Beginnings team visited the Songhai Farm in the Republic Benin in Africa.

The reason for this your was to see what an integrated farming community looks like.

Fr. Nzamujo, a Dominican priest has established an international community network of farmers who are practicing organic farming and also providing communities and individuals an opportunity for sustainable agriculture.

Fr. Has some training centers in Africa and he has offered to train some young women and men ages 18- 35 years from ZHB’s team free of charge.

This program will last for three months during which the participants will acquire practical skills and knowledge of organic farming.

We are excited about this program…

…and look forward to sending about 35 individuals to participate in the program.

We are also negotiating with the state government to assist us in acquiring enough land for this project, and this will boost our Community Hope Farm in Umuawuchi in Ihitte/Uboma LGA in Imo State where ZHB is working at this time.

We count on your prayers and financial support.

Blessings and love.

Sr. Zita Iwuoha.
